Doing my best: that's all I could have done for yesterday's inservice. I couldn't possibly have been more prepared, my audience couldn't have been kinder and more enthusiastic, and my students could not have been more darling. Prepping for a workshop/demonstration on Cooperative Learning, Literacy, and Critical Thinking is not an easy task! My brain hurt putting all of those elements together in a logical, engaging way!


That being said, it is DONE! The audience was complimentary, and I really hope they were able to walk away with some practical ideas. If anything, they have some new thoughts and a local resource person they can call/e-mail. I so appreciated my students (eight!) coming in on their day off - that meant a lot to me. I will miss them over the next THREE WEEKS that I have OFF. Thank you, year-round schooling!
